Conducted among 2,301 French respondents, this new edition of the Degré Zéro barometer provides a comprehensive overview of No/Low consumption: consumer profiles, preferred drinks, places of purchase and consumption, expectations, and barriers. The study was carried out in partnership with the No/Low Wine Collective to better understand the trends reshaping the market for alcohol-free and low-alcohol beverages.
Degré Zéro: the leading professional event for the No/Low sector
In just four editions, Degré Zéro has become the leading trade show specifically dedicated to non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages. In 2025, the event brought together 112 exhibitors and more than 1,100 visitors from 49 nationalities, confirming its importance for producers, distributors, buyers, and hospitality professionals.
Now part of the Sirha Food ecosystem, Degré Zéro is accelerating its growth in a market experiencing strong momentum.
The next edition, taking place on Monday, October 19 in Lyon, will bring together around forty exhibitors and showcase all No/Low beverage categories: functional, gastronomic, or creative drinks, ready-to-drink beverages, dealcoholized wines, and alcohol-free beers and spirits...
With the acquisition of Break Events Group, Sirha Food is expanding its expertise into a rapidly evolving sector. The group is strengthening its mission: to bring together, inspire and support stakeholders in the food service and hospitality industries.
Sirha Food now becomes the organizer of Degré Zéro and the TastyWines Meetings. These international business conventions connect producers and importers through innovative meeting formats.
“The new liquid cultures are profoundly transforming the uses and business models of the food service industry,” says Luc Dubanchet.
“With Sirha Food’s leadership, we will naturally accelerate the development of No / Low,” adds Olivier Darras.
The No / Low market: a major societal shift
The beverage market is undergoing a profound transformation. Alcohol consumption in France has fallen by more than 60% since 1960. At the same time, the no- and low-alcohol beverage segment (No/Low) has seen record growth of 30% since 2022. It is now approaching €300 million.
Today, 49% of alcohol consumers also drink No/Low beverages. This finding, taken from the Degré Zéro 2025 barometer, confirms the rise of flexidrinkers who alternate depending on the occasion.
In out-of-home dining, alcohol-free beverages already account for 40% to 45% of revenue. This is a clear sign of a lasting shift in consumption habits.
